Here's a snack recipe that is simple, tasty AND healthy! Plus, it only uses 2 ingredients - apples and cinnamon. We all know the saying - "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". But did you know that cinnamon has many health benefits, too? It has been known to lower cholesterol, help control blood sugar, decrease arthritis pain, plus boost your memory and energy levels! Oven Dried Apple Rings
- 1 large apple, sliced thin (skin on)
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Arrange thinly sliced apples in an even layer on parchment paper. Sprinkle generously with cinnammon.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, flip each slice over, then return to oven for an additional 15-20 minutes. Keep a close eye on them, to ensure they don't start to burn. Remove from oven and allow to cool on rack. ENJOY!
